SPONSORSHIP

Sponsoring a child from India is a meaningful way to make a lasting difference in a young person’s life. Many children in India face barriers to education due to poverty, lack of resources, or limited access to schools. By becoming a sponsor, you help provide essential support such as school fees, uniforms, books, and sometimes even nutritious meals and healthcare. This assistance empowers the child to attend school regularly, focus on studies, and build a brighter future for themselves and their community. Beyond financial help, sponsorship creates a personal connection—offering encouragement, hope, and the belief that someone cares about their dreams and potential.

Success Stories

Karthika

Karthika’s childhood nearly slipped away after her father’s death. Her mother, a daily laborer, struggled to provide even one meal a day, and soon Karthika had to stop attending school.

Through sponsorship, Karthika returned to school. What once seemed impossible slowly became a reality. She studies hard and is determined to become a nurse so she can care for others the way DLAM cares for her. For Karthika, education isn’t just learning — it’s hope reborn.

Karunakar

Karunakar’s father died when he was very young, leaving his mother to care for him and his brother. Their only source of income were the two cows they owned. Most months ended in debt and school was out of reach.

Through sponsorship, new doors were opened. Karunakar is now thriving in school and working towards becoming an engineer to help build better homes and roads for his village.

Hasmitha and Aksaya

Hasmitha and her twin sister Aksaya live in a rural village of Andhra Pradesh. Their father is terminally ill and unable to work. Their mother works long days in the fields to keep the family together, barely covering living essentials. The girls watched other children walk to school because they could not afford to attend.

Through sponsorship, school became possible again. Hasmitha loves reading stories and Aksaya loves solving math puzzles. Their mother says they now come home talking about their dreams for the future. Education has become the bridge from survival to possibility.

Rajagopal

Rajagopal’s mother worked long hours as a farm laborer after her husband’s death. She earned just enough to feed her children, often skipping her own meals. Rajagopal desired to attend school and achieve a better future for him and his family, but poverty stood in the way.
