Your generous support Is Needed

“Empower a woman and you uplift an entire community. “

The primary goal of the “Women’s Business Training Programs” at DLAM, is to offer women the opportunity to be self-sufficient and financially independent. We currently sponsor programs that provide clear pathways for the women of India and to own and operate a business.

RECENT SUCCESS STORIES

Gaining skills for lifelong independence

In 2024, DLAM launched a women-owned and operated “Jute Craft” business, providing a platform for 10 women to manage and grow their businesses. Jute is a strong, eco-friendly, natural fiber widely used in some Asian countries for bags, mats, and household products. Durable and biodegradable, it provides sustainable income for many rural families. With the help of DLAM, these women are now earning a fair wage and financially contributing to their families.

Ms. Gunavathi comes from a poor economic background. Despite her talent, she often felt overlooked and ,stuck in a cycle of hard labor with little recognition. After joining the Jute bag training given by DLAM, she developed new techniques for transforming her talent into stylish products.

Ms. Sindhu, from a small village, struggled to make ends meet, despite her hard work. DLAM provided training in modern designs, quality control, and marketing techniques that helped her business to grow.
