HISTORY

In a quiet orphanage in India, Father Andy met a frail boy named Balu. By the age of four, Balu had lost both of his parents to HIV/AIDS.

This boy’s pain echoed the struggles of countless children throughout the world, who are forgotten and neglected physically, emotionally and spiritually. These children fall through the cracks of society and live a life riddled with stigma and neglect. The orphanage had failed to nurture Balu’s spirit, and that failure felt personal.

At that moment, Father Andy’s purpose became clear. He would dedicate himself to the broken and the marginalized-to restore dignity, offer belonging, and give voice to those the world had long silenced.

Father Andy began his mission in 2011, providing basic needs to two orphaned children. Since then, over 1,000 children have benefited from sponsorships, food, healthcare, and education. Twelve wells have been installed in rural communities and over 150 women have been trained in sustainable trades
